Worst experience ever.
I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding a recent reservation. Upon arrival, I discovered the property I booked was overbooked. I was then sent to a different property that was far below the standard of what I had originally paid for. Due to the unacceptable conditions, I chose to check out early and did not stay.
Despite these circumstances — which were entirely out of my control — I have been informed that I am not eligible for a refund. This is unacceptable. I booked and paid for a specific property and standard of accommodation. The alternative offered did not meet those standards, and I should not be penalized for the property’s overbooking issue.
I expect Hotels.com to honor its commitment to customer satisfaction and issue a full refund for this reservation. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter.
