This was a lovely property, very unique, owned by a young couple who have been running it for around 2 years with their lovely little boys. The food was good, but the service was a little too homely, while this was a lovely touch it was also a bit odd, at check in we needed to order breakfast for the next day and a time to eat. The night meal was lovely, good understanding of GF options.

Quaint and Cosy
A lovely little bed and breakfast, the staff were quiet friendly and attentive. The decor and whole feel is of a mountain lodge welcoming and cosy. The little touches such as the locally made teddy bears and tiny teddies served with coffee keep true to the theme. In terms of the food we only had breakfast which was included in our stay and it was absolutely delicious especially the mushrooms and the portions were generous. The rooms themselves were in great condition, the bed comfortable and plenty of bedding for cold nights. The location about halfway up the huon valley makes it a great base to explore the surrounding towns and see all that is on offer. We absolutely loved it.

Service is excellent, the breakfast included delicious, a cute quaint b & b. Tastefully renovated. Located in a small town with the essentials- supermarket, fuel, coffee & this place also does dinner otherwise a short drive to another town.

The food here is very good and so is the free breakfast. My daughter fell for the pasta and repeatedly ordered that. The rooms here are a bit small, and there are no views which we thought was a serious shortcoming. But, the staff make up with excellent service.

Geeveston Stay
An interesting place in Geeveston. Good room, great meals but no fridge or coffee making in room and the bed wasn’t great. Friendly couple running it. Well located to access local attractions.

Quirky little hotel.
Was a great little place that we took refuge from due to a storm making it very uncomfortable to camp. Limited menu on the night we stayed but the best seafood chowder we have had in Tassie! Would highly recommend staying here! Was great to sit by the fire for dinner and the included breakfast the next morning.

Lovely, family run accommodation
Cosy atmosphere. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and other meals were outstanding. Barista made coffee and tea included at all times. Convenient location to Tahune Airwalk. Good value. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay, lovely little arty town. The hotel was very cosy and warm, very accommodating; the host was very welcoming. The cuisine is excellent and different from the usual cuisine that seems to be reproduced everywhere. A great place to stay.

A small facility in an historic town
Despite the unusual name, don't let that put you off! The 3 guest rooms are beautifully decorated & have new ensuite bathrooms. The new owners are putting in the effort to ensure their property & cafe/tapas bar is successful. Great to see a young family chancing their arm in a rural community & well worth supporting. PS: the scones are perfect!

Lovely town, very quiet
I really like Geeveston and the accommodation was adequate. Be prepared that there are very few options for eating out at night or for early breakfast. The platypus walk is however very close by and yes you do see platypus in their natural environment. Close to Tahune Air walk which is also worth doing.

Great location in the middle of town.
A very comfortable place to stay in the main street of town. Unfortunately car parking is in the main street outside the B&B. Dinner wasn't available on the night we stayed although there was a night farmers market with cooked food down the road. The B&B is for sale, and as such the owners are keen to move on.
