Peaceful Retreat
It was a return visit for us, and as per our last stay a couple of months back, every aspect of our getaway was exactly what we were looking for. Looking forwards to returning once again in the near future

Fantastic location for a peaceful Blue Mountains getaway. Accommodation was roomy (bigger than I thought it would be), perfect Loft Room with a fire spot on for winter. Would absolutely return to this property!

We booked into the superior suite, absolutely lovely. The layout was spacious and well designed, exactly what we were after. Would definitely recommend. Only two comments for improvement - the sofa bed for our daughter didn't have a proper quilt, just a polyester throw as a cover. Also the buffet breakfast was rather underwhelming, we ended up eating breakfast out. Otherwise, it was a really wonderful stay and we would happily return .

Loved it because it was very peaceful, relaxing, clean, warm and comfortable. Really comfy beds and pillows. Good warm shower. Beautiful gardens!, and communal sitting room! Disappointed we couldn’t get massages at the day spa - one of the reasons we’d chosen the place. Being offered one at Lilianfels defeated purpose of being able to just relax for a couple of days in the one place. Breakfast was great and lovely you offered a variety of options that were gluten free - one of us is a coeliac. Good to have Wifi. Although I had an online meeting and found signal very weak at the desk (one bar), but found two bars on lounge under the window next to the bed. All staff friendly and obliging - reception and breakfast room. After going out walking during the day, would have been great to be able to come back to a hot dinner in your lovely dining room in the evening - warm, healthy, hearty food. Roasts, thick soups, etc. A microwave in the room would also be useful, plus more milk, decaf coffee granules (Moccona!). Coffee machine coffee was nice but when I was tired, couldn’t be bothered working out how to use it. Also couldn’t work out if we could stream films on the TV set - would have been really nice to have been able to do this, or even play movies from a selection of DVDs. However a wonderful holiday - really relaxing break thank you.

Overnight stay at Parklands
Had a lovely overnight stay at Parklands. Room was clean and tidy and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was served in the nice sun filled dining room with a small but nice variety of foods.

The accommodation is set within a beautiful park and our suite felt calm and cosy. Absolutely freezing weather, but A heating - a gas fireplace and aircon, which warmed us up instantly. Lovely cooked brekky each morning which met my husband’s approval. Friendly staff.

Average and expensive
The good: Gaslit fireplace large rooms and high ceilings beautiful grounds staff were friendly on reception The bad: Door on bathroom had to be banged to force to close Mirror and carpet were super dusty Reception closes at 8pm and you have to contact reception in another location to get help no ability to access anything other than free to air tv/ no option for movie rental shower pressure was terrible and shower wand was leaking bed not as comfortable as expected for this caliber of hotel breakfast was very average, eggs underdone first day and overdone the next day parking close to our loft seemed lacking and we struggled to get a spot

The lack of a dining option was the only draw back. The facilities and location were excellent.

A fair walk from town especially when it is so cold, no restaurant, only serve the buffet breakfast, which was superb, so no dinner. Room was very cosy, loved the fireplace. Not a whole lot to do. Very pricey for what it is.

Lovely hotel and setting
We stayed on the ground floor of a lodge. The apartment was lovely with an enormous lounge with a great log effect gas fire - much appreciated in May! The bed was comfy and shower very good. The buffet breakfast was plentiful but you do need to get there early as it can run out of some things.

Great room with gas fire in the lounge area and beautiful outlook. Only downfall was finding a funnel web spider in the lounge room during the evening - torrential wet weather may have had the creepy crawlies heading indoors.
