We like the hot spring experience, the free ice popsicles, the late evening free ramen! The location is great, close to restaurants and shops. We tried breakfast buffet one day. It cost 23,000 yen, but worth it.
The hotel is extremely dated. The windows are old and cannot block off traffic noises. The carpet is old too, I feel they cannot be cleaned. There is a note in room telling guests to take care of their own garages or they will be charged. It seems very rude but I kind of understand the reason behind it. From Richmond Premier in Kyoto to this hotel is a serious downgrade, but because it's cheaper, it's nice for people who rather sleep alone and on budget.
