Excellent and frequent communication pre-stay. Warmly greeted upon arrival, shown around the facility before being led to glorious Garden Courtyard room on lower floor. Very spacious room with either side of the bed having direct access to bathroom facilities, robes, ironing facilities and tea making facilities behind the bed head panel. Either side of bed had nooks for necessities, lamps with usb outlets, very convenient. A range of pillow types on offer. Gift chocolates on coffee table. Turn down service included heating being turned on, a tray with Islington dream tea, teapot, cups and little cake treats. Strolling around the meandering garden and water feature was delightful. There were places to sit and take in the ambience and enjoy watching the birdlife. Free access to a games room, library, sitting room. Beautiful dining area for a scrumptious breakfast, made to order by the chef whom could be seen from the open gallery kitchen. Good quality all round. Little treats were on the long bench table in front of kitchen that guests could partake of at any time with a barista service available. Bar facilities and service available up until 9.00pm. A book has been produced about the history of Islington dating back to the early 1800s. The grounds and the building are beautifully presented. Care has been taken in all aspects of the service to ensure guests have the best experience. Additional services are available if you want extra special experiences. We will visit again.
