The room was clean, had plenty of space for our family of 4 . The breakfast was okay compared to other hilton brand hotels. This hotel only offered basic scrambled eggs, they had pork sausage one morning which was good, but other wise they only had turkey bacon, 3 kinds of cereal, same yogurt flavors, their breads/bagles were dried out like they had been out longer then breakfast hrs. The real decline came upon check out. At check in they put a hold in 1/2 the total stay, not the $250 deposit, so that was unexpected but fine, then with only 2 days left they put a hold on the other 1/2. So the total stay is pending out of my bank. The day after we check out the whole amt is withdrawn from my account while there is still a hold on the whole amt . I called my bank and they said the merchant has a hold until 6/25! I checked out on 6/16! Plus they already got paid the full amount! My bank said to call them and request a release, the hotel said this is normal and will drop in 3-5biz days. Ive stayed in many Hiltons and other brand hotels and never had them hold the full amt plus take the full amt. this alone drops my rating. The man I spoke to was rude, said they didnt take more then the amt I owed for my stay, kept telling me its my fault because I used a debit card, said I shouldnt use a bank card and should use a credit card. That this is normal that they hold the full amt until you check out. So they currently have $2750 for a stay that should have been $1375!
