A total disappointment
Overall a very disappointing stay for my family and I wouldn't recommend the resort to anyone who appreciates good hospitality. The good about this place: Nothing memorable really, maybe except the nice uniforms of the receptionists. The bads: 1) Late check-in at 4pm on day of arrival; 2) Room wifi signal was almost non existent; 3) Both lifts were not working for most of the time we were there, making it a challenge for the elderly people and children with us. When asked, resort management said there was nothing they could do about it and what was more appalling was we were told that "normally only 1 lift would be spoilt"; 4) Reception could not be bothered with our repeated requests for a bottle opener even though they promised us to deliver it to the room; and 5) Overcharging for breakfast - we noticed that we were charged different prices for our 3-day stay. When asked, the receptionist initially acknowledged that we were overcharged for 2 of the 3 days. However the resort management subsequently retracted their words and said that we were undercharged for 1 of the 3 days. So instead of giving us a refund, we had to make additional payment. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, we did not bother to argue with them further. But it goes to show how the resort management deals with such issues.
