This was my second stay this year (first trip was in June in the new part). At first glance, the room looked good and bigger than my previous stay (this time I was in the room called Winter) and had a lovely sofa and separate armchair, plus dual aspect windows. However, the pleasant feeling quickly disappeared when the Nespresso machine (which is hidden under the TV in a cabinet) hadn't been replenished with new pods. The bowl was empty. I went to look at the in-room tablet, as I had used it the last time I stayed, and it wasnt working. On trying to turn it on I realised the battery was dead despite it sitting on the charging dock. So i tried the charger in a different plug to the left of the desk and it still didnt work, so then i tried a completely different 2-plug socket and it started charging - so the other plug socket obviously is faulty. I sat on the bed and saw the "tell us how we did card" - i went to fill it in and found that it was the one left behind by the previous guests in the room. They had been in the December room but asked to be moved due to an event, however, they still werent happy in Winter based on the feedbakc they left. I gave it to the woman on check out this morning, explaining that it was left by the previous guests but she didnt seem to understand that I wasnt happy and that the room was obviously not turned over properly, so I just left. It was my second stay and I was hoping to see some improvements but it wasn't good...
