Lovely pub/hotel with good food i a great location
Lovely pub/hotel in a great location. We had an excellent Sunday roast .The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My only criticism is that it needs a lick of paint here and there.

Centre of Tenterden
The stay was ok, it served its purpose. Most of the staff were excellent. I understand that it is an old building but the uneven floors are terrible, with a step just as you open the door to the room, unbelievable.

Greeted with a very warm welcome by Hannah. Lovely deluxe room. View over town and garden. Tea coffee etc facilities were excellent with a little treat of Tiffin too. Only constructive criticism would be to provide better quality toilet roll!

Great hotel with a great pub, ideal location for a trip to chapel down winery. Great little town too, helpful staff when an extension was required for one of the rooms. Breakfast was delicious just a little confusing with regards to prices and choices. Overall great stay would recommend and stay again.

A great location in the centre of Tenterden. Parking at the rear of the property included in the cost of you’re a resident in the hotel. We had a very pleasant airy and comfortable room. Certainly worth another visit in the future.

Beautiful building, well decorated room and excellent breakfast. Staff were very friendly and professional, welcoming at all times and the room, bar and restaurant are beautifully decorated. Room amenities were excellent, just a shame we didn’t discover the brownies until it was too late!

We had a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and the bar and restaurant area very nice. Our room was tired and needed a good lick of paint. The room was hot and stuffy and the sash window was broken and wouldn’t stay open which was annoying. We would go here again to use the bar and restaurant but would not stay overnight as there are better accommodations nearby.

Loved the place but unfortunately there were huge issues with our reservation where one of rooms was given away by mistake and we offered a downgraded room. Although when we asked for refund we were going to get it, it was a disappointing experience and we booked certain rooms for a reason. In the end we were given another room same quality to the detriment of someone else checking in later who would have experienced the same issue as we took their room. Really loved the room though and breakfast was great.

Cool Runnings
Great location in the heart of Tenterden with ample parking. The check in was fast and welcoming. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel is in a quiet area so I slept very well. I had the eggy soldiers for breakfast which was good and very nostalgic! My only minor gripe was the time the sink hot water took to arrive....in fact it never got hot even after running the water for 15 minutes. I understand it's an old building but, continuing like this, I can see a hose pipe ban in Kent this summer!!
