I cannot begin to tell to you how amazing this hotel is. I traveled with young children under 2 and they staff was so helpful with my food needs and even running out to get baby wipes for me. Super friendly, very professional. Domenica was at the front desk and was a gem! Super nice and always had a smile on her face. Very efficient too. Paul was very kind and warm hearted. Always willing to help and once again always has asking on his face. Faiber was amazing!!!!!! Always gracious and will to help. This overall stay for my family (total of 8) was amazing. We loved it! What a beautiful hotel and country! We will be back. Also you must try the zoo!!! Be prepared for a hike and wear proper hiking boots/ sneakers.

Our room over looked the garden area and was airy and spacious. The staff was gracious and very helpful . . . they went out of their way to serve us! I was so excited to visit Mansion Alcazar as it used to be one of my favorite hotels in the world. I was sad to find tacky plastic flowers in the room instead of the beautiful rose bouquets that made them special. They also stopped turn down service. And the food at the hotel which was always a highlight, this time was run of the mill. Service was also not great, which was surprising as there were hardly any guest. It was an overall disappointment.

The Mansion Alcazar is a very beautiful hotel to stay at. It was clean, modern and a most beautiful garden. The staff was exceptional especially Veronica and Dominica. They were so accommodating and so to all of our requests while at the hotel. The breakfast is excellent as well. We enjoyed my stay at Mansion Alcazar, and will stay there again when I visit Cuenca. Thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was professional, courteous, pleasant, warm and treated us in such a respectful and friendly manner.
