Great location away from the city centre, walkable distance to Zoo and Tiergarten. Good dining options nearby. Property is slightly prefab, beds very comfortable as marketed, rooms limited for in room coffee (only tea available) and perks seen in other comparable properties. More charming than a large hotel chain, less warm than a bed and breakfast. Hospitality of Benedict next door is world class.

At check-in was bit of an issue, as originally booked the hotel as it said had laundry facilities which they didn't, explained that is the reason I booked this hotel plus it was extremely expensive due everything going on in Berlin, they gave me one drink card for the hiccup which I thought was bit poor

Couldn’t really fault it (apart from no coffee in the room). The room was spacious, bed comfortable and decor, cleanliness great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bar/breakfast restaurant downstairs which is really popular with the locals (queues to get in most of the day) and also a bakery counter that sells hot drinks. It’s close to transport links and was well situated for exploring the city. Despite the busy restaurant/bar downstairs there was no issue with noise. Would definitely recommend it and we had a really enjoyable stay there.

Very nice and clean property with very comfortable bed. The room is a little small but the interior design is very well made making you feel relaxed. Bathroom is nice and spacious. Really excellent hotel. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are styling and well appointed, and the hotel itself is just a couple of stops on the tube from Zoologische Garden, so pretty well located. Breakfast at Benedict’s on the ground floor (separate company to the hotel) is amazing too!
