Extremely comfortable hotel in quiet neighborhood
We just spent five nights here and will definitely stay again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the location is quiet. We were visiting family in Oost, so the location was extremely convenient, but if you are coming to Amsterdam to see the center, this is a bit off the beaten track. You will need either a bike or to take the tram, which is nearby.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. A special shoutout to the receptionist, Mahtab, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Not out best stay
We ordered a queen bed room but got twin beds. This was especially annoying since we booked this hotel specifically to avoid twin beds. The hotel also smells like mold, and in the bedroom, there was a really bad smell coming from the drain. This is probably due to the lack of floor heating in the bathroom, so it is always freezing. There is almost no water pressure, and it is impossible to adjust the shower to a comfortable temperature—it is either scalding hot or freezing cold. The pillows are one meter thick, so you're going to sleep at a 90-degree angle. The hotel was rated 4 stars on Hotels.com, but in my opinion, it is at most 2 stars. There is no public transportation nearby, so you have to use Uber everywhere. The breakfast was good, though.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff is located a short walk from Amstel Metro station. This hotel is located in a renovated former church, everything was new and very clean. Breakfast buffet was great!

Clean rooms but no vista.
I booked a family room and was given two adjoining rooms. Our view out of the window in our ground floor rooms faces a patch of green with full of discarded items lying around next to a car park. This hotel is 800 metres away from Amstel Station. Close by there is Lidl Supermarket. Other than that - one would have to walk 800 metres to F&B joints.

Liked that the hotel used to be a church. It’s in a quiet area and the walk to the train station is about 10 minutes. It’s easy to use the metro to get around Amsterdam.

The hotel is fantastic. The building is a former church and the rooms are clean. They even have an A/C which is not obvious in older constructions. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is 800 m from Amstel station which has a lot of connections both to the centre and away. Walking to the station may be a problem because of the distance and some stairs on the way. Lidl is around the corner which is great!

A Gem in Amsterdam
It is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. The hotel located in a residential neighborhood and right next door to Lidl. Our room is equipped with a small kitchen that able us to have breakfast, before we start our day sightseeings. The hotel is where an old church used to be, but with additional additions to it. The hallway are lined with marbles that is way more than I expected. The staff are wonderful and make your stay a pleasured one. There is also an Atrium that served breakfast and in the future, it will become a full restaurant. The walk to center city is only 40 minutes, with beautiful canals, shops and unique homes to see. The price is reasonable, we had a two twin beds and the room is spacious for European standard and air conditioning. Even though we don't needed for our stays, but it is available if needed.

Pleasantly surprised!
On arrival it looks a bit random being in the middle of a residential area and doesn’t scream "hotel vibes" from the outside but was pleasantly surprised once inside. The reception area is a decent size, nice and bright with the reception staff very welcoming. We were shown to where our room was (triple room - double bed and single bed).....these were soooo comfy, pillows especially. I had read reviews about the bedsheets not fitting the bed, which is true but its really not a thing that would put you off....the sheets are pristine clean so its not a worry! The bathroom was lovely although not a fully locking door and just frosted glass so unless you were comfortable with people walking in on you (either on ourpose or by mistake haha) then decide on an unwritten rule that if the doors closed, its occupied 😀. There are shampoo and body wash pumps in the shower, hairdryer in the drawer under the sink so pretty much all you need! We had breakfast included in our stay and the room where its served is so lovely decorated (it seems a new part built on) and while you're only looking out onto the street, its still a lovely room to sit in while starting your day. The breakfast is well stocked from hot breakfast to pastries/breads/cheeses/yoghurt, fruit juices and hot drinks machine. The location is decent (less than a 10 minute walk to Amstelstation - 5 stops from Central Station) so its easy to get around and quiet so youre guaranteed a good nights sleep.
