Booked a 2 bedroom partial oceanview. The room was rundown, mold in the bathrooms, broken furniture, musky smell. The kitchen was greasey and dirty. We had to pay an ectra $700 to "upgrade" to the penthouse b/c conveniently thats what was available. That room had an amazing view but that's about all. We had to go buy our own washclothes and towels. The kitchen was disgusting and had a foul odor. The utensils were dirty, dishwasher didnt work. We had 9 people in our group.
Security was at each entrance which initially was appreciated. Made ke feel a bit safer. But, we used the towels at the pool, naturally and tried to go back to our room to change and we were forced to return the towels at the pool and go up to the room, on the 17th floor, wet and cold. The hotel felt like a freezer. It was unbearably cold walkong through the main areas. My husbands shirt got wet at the pool, security would not allow him in the building until he put it on. The hottub and pool were probably the highlight of our stay. They were clean and well maintained. With all the options in Miami, i would never stay here again and i dont not recommend this Hotel. Oh and they never mentioned until our arrival that the fee for parking is $175 for the week! They tell you you can look for street parking but it is non-existent on that section of the beach. Never again!!
