Simply wonderful
Absolutely fantastic! Amazing little village, staff is so friendly and helpful.
Seemed like everyone in the area was super friendly, small bar close to the hotel and a pizzeria with great staff.
Stayed for 3 nights and would recommend this to anyone.
Can't describe how nice everyone was and it just made the stay so enjoyable.

Perfect
I have stayed here several times on my way to Tuscany. In my opinion this is the perfect hotel. Good food, good service friendly helpful staff and it is authentically Italian. If you like plastic stereotype hotel chains this hotel may not be for you. If you like the genuine article try itn

Lovely place
Stayed in the hotel for a wedding reception. Staff very friendly, generous and accommodating. The food for the wedding and the breakfast were very tasty. They really made me and the other guests feel at home. I didn't get a chance to see the local area, unfortunately. The room was very big and spacious with a big comfortable bed.

Stayed in the annex in a loft style apartment, wifi didn't work too well and 2 out of the 3 windows didn't open.
Service at reception slow, didn't seem to be manned at check out time with lots of people waiting.

Great Friendly Service
We had a fab 6-day stay at Madonnina in mid-July. We chose it initially for its good value and convenient location for the Lakes and Milan. We found it to be a beautiful old inn with super food and super friendly service. The owners were delightful and extremely helpful - especially Roberto and his chats over the delicious breakfast capuccino! We had a very comfortable triple room in the old Silk Factory with our own large and private balcony. The air-conditioning worked a treat in the room as it was very hot outside - 34-36 degrees heat! The rooftop pool was also great in providing a cooling break from the sightseeing trips. We will definitely return to La Madonnina if we are in the area - thanks for the wonderful welcome!

A little bit "old" hotel.
A little bit "old" hotel. Big rooms but with no work place (you sit on the bad whebn the laptop in on the table nearby). No door for the bathroom. Poor intenrnet connection. Located on the road so car noise wake you up.

Great hospitality made our stay very satisfying. The restaurant was good as advertised. Worth a visit just for the food. Will definitely return on our next trip to the region.

We stayed overnight enroute to Tuscany. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the motorway. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were a friendly and helpfully - in fact a joy to meet. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom excellent with a rainfall shower and sunken bath. Best of all was the food. They made us an excellent late lunch and dinner in the garden was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Reviving La Dolce Vita
This is a place full of remarkable history and charm- a hotel for intelligent people who are looking for something out of the ordinary. It is an older Italian villa aging with grace.
Make sure you get the suite which is nicely decorated, very spacious room with a huge comfortable two-poster bed and a big whirlpool. We stayed one night with our two girls (8,11) who slept in the large sofabed in the separate entrance room to the suite. Bright rooms with a huge balcony and windows in three directions. Big plasma TV.
The fireplace was lit up in the morning for the generous breakfast with plenty of options.
We would definetely stay here again.
