Check in time starts at 4pm, but you'll receive a message that the hotel will close at 5pm and later check ins should be arranged by phoning to an indicated phone number in advance. And here start the problems.
A couple of days before my arrival I sent them a message through Hotels.com saying that I should have arrived by bus half an hour later, at 5h30pm. No replies.
Then I sent them again a message on the previous day of my arrival. No replies.
On the morning of the day of my arrival I contacted Hotels.com customer service to explain the situation, they tried to contact them. No replies.
Customers service left them a message on the voicemail. No signs of life again.
At 4pm on the day of my arrival I started to phone them, at least 10 times, and waited waited and waited, then left two voice messages. No replies.
I contacted again the Hotels.com customers service, they tried, no luck again.
Then I walked to the hotel. The staff was there, but it looks that they don't reply on the phone, nore they check voice messages.
They also have an emergency phone, but it does not correspond to the number they provided during reservation.
It all ended well, but very poorly managed. If you book there, make sure to arrive in time and hope to never have to contact them ahead of your arrival.
