The hotel and its location were both excellent - and I was extremely satisfied in this regard. The hotel even allowed a late check-out at no additional cost.
I booked 2 double rooms. I was the only person who in fact traveled because 1 of the members of the group (my grandmother) passed away. I contacted Expedia 3 weeks in advance of travel to request a refund of 1 of the rooms. Expedia informed me that the hotel denied this request. I understand that I had a non-refundable tariff with restrictions, but in my opinion the hotel should have shown tolerance considering the reason of the cancellation of 1 of the 2 rooms and the advance notice given.
Again, I was very happy with my stay. Unfortunately, I can't give a favorable general rating for this hotel due to the poor judgement shown in my situation.
