Sleepless in Didim!!!
It was a nightmare to find the place as both ends of the road leading to the hotel is blocked. Google map just couldn't get us close enough. Apparently that road is closed permanent, but the owners failed to notify the customers. Car parking is a nightmare, just park anywhere you can find one on the marina. The place is noisy due to the nightlife under the window so you can't open the window. The aircon did NOT work so we sweated all night and did not sleep at all. It is a stingy little room with a just as stingy toilet/shower and no soap provided. Although the accommodation included breakfast, we just got up and left without having the brekky. I travel the world, and this is bottom of the pits...
Didim is a beautiful location with lots of affordable seafood restaurants and night life for the night owls, but we just chose the wrong hotel. would I go back to Didim, Absolutely and stay even longer. I think Didim is underrated and much better than Bodrum.
