We needed a stay for one night in Edinburgh and it was perfect! We had a private room, which was spacious and the bed was very comfy! The amenities were updated and very nice. We shared a bathroom and kitchen with another private room. It was in the center of a lot of great spots. Good bars nearby and great shopping. Would definitely go back if we stay in Edinburgh again!

Very nice hostel at the heart of Edinburgh

When people think of hostels they think of sharing with a group of strangers which no-one is sure they will get on with. They also shy away from the idea of the need to share a bathroom and toilet with others. However, our experience in this hostel was very pleasing as they also offered private bedrooms and the added extra of using a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom and toilets were very well maintaned in regards to cleanliness and good standard units, which made the sharing option easy to accept. Worthwile checking out this lovely hostel.

It suited our purpose for being in Edinburgh, in as much as we just needed a bed. It was clean, had hot showers and comfy beds, but the towels were small and well worn The carpets too were rather worn and grubby looking. Would stay again though, as we were not expecting luxury.

Our room was very sufficient. A fully equipped kitchen with a kettle and coffe and milk in the fridge. The beds were a bit uncomfortable but for the price it was perfect. Nice to see the street view from the window.
