Hotel was ok. Service needed to elaborate on questions. Morn very helpful because of language barrier. Once off property it was easier to relate to locals. As English speaking - very isolated. Nothing for us, all French. Tours person totally dissed us. Treated as outsiders. Nothing in English. Nothing, not even menus or tours or evening events.

A relaxing couple of days.
Nice pools and trails along the beach. Small beaches for good swimming in the ocean. Nice rustic beach bar/restaurant at one of the beaches. After a couple of days a car is a must.

Good location close to the beach
Arrived at night and had a problem to find this place, should have better signs at entrance, WiFi only at reception area not like advertising, Great breakfast buffet every morning, friendly staff.Rooms OK but needs some work, good housekeeping.

Nice basic hotel
We were there for 3 nights only with rainy weather and never stayed in the hotel during the day so we cannot rate the beach nor the pools. The environment and proximity of the small town of Ste Luce are a plus. We had dinner once and found it was OK, nothing amazing. The rooms are clean with working and efficient AC that you can modulate yourself (not always the case with French hotels so worth mentioning). Good bedding but lacking real blankets. Furniture a bit outdated and teeny tiny TV screen, but we did not care.

Basic and Quiet hotel
The location is quiet without disturbance, short distance from other beach restaurants, sea sports centre and 5 mins drive to the town area. The swimming pools are nice The Spa is technically not a spa but a massage and facial boutique, 1 masseur, 1 beautician and regretfully the beautician was away on leave during my visit The room is sizeable but in very tired condition. The pillows were so bad that there was no support at all although the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was French standard

OK for the price
Extremely accessible to the beach if you are looking to be able to literally walk to it. Hotel staff was pleasing and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive enough. Rooms are definitely dated but I didn't care as I had no plans on staying indoors much! One thing they definitely need to improve upon is the lack of wifi access in the rooms.

Nice stay in Sainte-Luce
We had major difficulty finding the hotel, as our cellular access was spotty and we were counting on our maps app to get us there. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and given a room by the pool. We didn't know that there was nightly entertainment at the pool bar, as well as lots of noisy children there throughout the day. Also, we were treated to a Carnaval celebration at the pool one night. Breakfast was a nice inclusion. Considering our desire to go to Les Salines beach, the location was very good for local sightseeing. Also, the main part of Ste. Luce was only a few miles away, so we had many delicious meals there.

huge disappointment
The hotel is well maintained and very clean. On arrival after 9:00PM, they couldn't get the computer to work, so couldn't code a room key for me. I was escorted to my room where they used their all room access key. If I wanted to leave the room, I had to get a staff member to let me back into the room. The room had no wifi. Even the lobby wifi was weak. Overall, at best a mid range hotel. The good news is that I was only here for one night on business. If this had been vacation, I would have been very unhappy.

Relaxing family resort
This is a nice resort, though not the same as a resort in Mexico or Jamaica. Restaurant and bar have set hours and much less of a party atmosphere than one might expect. Very relaxed and family oriented. Not in town so services nearby are limited. Beach access is through locked gate. Beach has beautiful trees and is shady. Infinity pools are nice.

decent hotel
Building very nice but staff terrible. I was at the Amandiers hotel and it was renewed in 2015. The room was very clean and simple. It could be nicer if they would add some little details (one more chair some pictures on the wall, a cabinet to cover the refrigerator). the swimming pools are very nice but the towels were always not availables. The restaurant is nice but the service very slow. The buffet could be much nicer and better organized. The dinner buffet cost 29 euro + drink, not so cheap compared to the price of the restaurants outside. The good thing is that you can order a pizza to take away at a decent price. There is a supermarket near by and a village (Saint Luce) as well. The location is perfect to discover the island. The best beaches (Salines) are not far.

Nice hotel with beautiful view over the caribean
Good hotel with great view over the ocean. The rooms are clean but modest. TV, AC, Refrigerator and very basic bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Furnishing could be upgrade. Good buffet at breakfast and dinner in nice setting. The staff was very friendly. The view is spectacular. Short distance to the beach. The beam in front of the hotel is very small, but if you can walk 5 minutes on either side, the beach are very pretty and not crowded at all. The infinity pool is very nice and offer great view over the ocean, particularly at sunset. The hotel is located along a beautiful walking path along the beach, right in the middle between Ste. Luce and Trois Rivieres. Limited handicapped access (the pool does not have railing, and steep path down to the beach). Entertainment in the evening. A car rental agency is conveniently located right on the premises. WiFi is only available in the restaurant and lobby.

Not beachfront, beach accessible, great value
This property is beach accessible. The beach is off to the side and narrow but nice. There are 3 pools. One is an infinity pool with a nice ocean view. Breakfast buffet was very good. Dinner buffet was adequate, but we are not buffet people. GREAT staff!

4/10 Fair

Meh.
This is a resort which seemed to have several different kinds of accommodations. Based on Expedia reviews, we stayed at the Amandiers. The grounds are nice, close to the beach, but the accommodations left a lot to be desired. We were assigned to Hibiscus -- which was basically a motel, with tired rooms. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathrooms were functional at best -- the toilet seat was broken, which made using it a precarious situation. There were parts of the facility which looked new and remodeled -- we just didn't experience it.

update about your updates
The hotel is inexpensive but it has potential to be a great resort. The construction is not loud but annoying here and there. There is ONE restaurant and ONE mini bar. There are no snack or grab and go lunch options in the vicinity. inner is buffet and is good however, 40 euros a pop. The language barrier was a small factor with the maids waking us every morning but the staff of the hotel tried hard to speak English or find someone who did. Not a bad value but they should disclose the renovation factor.

4/10 Fair

The rooms have no screens allowing mosquitos into the room from the bathroom Windows which do not have tight seals. There were mold spores in the bathroom. The bed was super uncomfortable and would sink deeply in the middle. You couldn't just sit down and eat at the hotel when you wanted and for dinner there was buffet only which is way over priced. The staff is very kind just poorly run by the upper management. It would help if more than two people could speak English as it was hard to communicate with any one. Also, I couldn't relax by the pool because a crane was digging up the ground in front of me.

Convenient close to the road and beach
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It has beautiful views and is right on the beach. You have access to 3 swimming pools and the breakfast is great. It is also close to a trail to going walking all the way down to the near by town which also has great food. I enjoyed my stay and will visit again

Good value
This was a good value modest hotel among it's big sisters who's facilities you could use. We were only staying one night and the hotel was quiet and the restaurant was shut so we ate at the Amyris next door, which was a buffet meal. Overall pleasant 3 stars sounds right.

At the risk of sounding like an ugly American, communication was quite difficult. In the tourist business you would think they would be a little more accommodating. I made myself understood with my secondary French schooling but... Also, friendliness was missing.
