the location was excellent. Steps from the train station. Staff was very helpful and kind, the also offer luggage storage if needed on your day of check in/out. If you are a light sleeper here is some noise from the station but for me it was calming like a thunderstorm.

Comfortable stay for a solo trip
It was great! A walk away from Gare Du Nord which made going and coming back from Paris much easier and it was very quick to get to places I wanted to go given the many means of transport nearby. The hotel was very clean, the people at the reception were kind and helped me by kepping my bags in the luggage room for a couple hours before check in and after check out shich meant I was able to explore a lot more! I stayed at the cozy single room, no view but that was fine cause i was out all day. The bed was very confortable, the room was clean and the bathroom was spacious and spotless! The advantage of having a mini fridge was great cause i could store some goodies in there. Will definitely go back

Lovely stay , metro, train station etc few lovely restaurants around That does good value evening meal and cocktails. We used metro every day was so easy and that’s coming from someone who never used them ever, but also recommend the 32 bus next to the metro station you see so much of where to go with this bus, stops by eiffle tower and the big shopping places etc

Would have given the hotel five stars, but the AC in my room was not working. The staff expressed (what seemed) sincere regret, but they could not change my room because they were full. Weather was hot. I was at the hotel for one night to transfer in the morning to the airport for a long-haul flight. (In short, I was there for a good night’s sleep.) AC was a prime reason for choosing the hotel. …Otherwise, I recommend the hotel. It’s clean, otherwise well appointed, and extremely well located for trips to/from Gare de l’Est.

Great Value and Better Location
This hotel is perfectly located at the front side of Gate de l’Est and even closer to the Metro 4 entrance #8 (20m to the entrance on the corner). If you are coming into the city from the airport, you come into Gare du Nord (10 minute walk or 2 min/one stop on the Metro), so you will want to take the Metro 4 and exit entrance #8 to save the walk with your luggage. The room was small but no smaller than a comparable room in a city like NYC. The bathroom only has a sliding door and is not at all private once inside (not a problem just need to be aware). We had a double and twin for 3 people but there was enough room to move around a little and small closet if you are staying awhile. Also a TV and a small desk we could play 2 person cards on. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and let me use my simple French if I wanted to but also spoke fluent English. Only complaint, the tub did not drain until after a shower was well finished.
