My room seems ok (very basic- I was clearly not paying attention when I was looking at amenities), but while I was waiting to tell the front desk person about someone sketchy in the parking lot, I chatted with a couple that seemed to be cancelling there reservation due to a very unclean room. Then as I was going up to my room, I heard someone else asking if they had been able to get another room to be transferred into because of issues in their room, including a sink that wouldn't drain, among other things.
I was at the front desk letting them know that there was a man in the parking lot just sitting in a truck with a window rolled down when I pulled into a parking space. There were hardly any spaces left, and I had to park between two big trucks in a far end. As I was preparing to get out of my car I noticed that one of the trucks next to me had a window down halfway. As I got out of my car, I realized there was someone sitting in the cab. So as I walked by, I asked, "are you okay?" They said yes, and it seemed harmless enough, but then the person asked me, even though in a friendly tone, "is just you?" Weird question. I just shrugged my shoulders and said, maybe. I should have just said no, but since I pretty much try not to ever lie, it wasn't my gut instinct to do it. So I went in and told the front desk, but I'm not sure they did anything. Called front desk later, disconnected twice, & connection bad when I did get through. Noisy location, but could've been worse.
