Very bad experience
Where do I begin? We arrived at the Bodrum Holiday Resort & Spa on 22nd October, expecting a wonderful experience. When we checked in, the staff at the gate asked for our booking confirmation and directed us to reception. At reception, we checked in and requested a welcome pack showing whe, but the receptionist said the printer was broken and she couldn’t provide anything at the moment. I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but an explanation would have been nice, especially for a 4-star hotel.
When we entered our room, it didn’t feel like a 4-star place. The bathroom wasn’t clean; there were tissues on the floor and it looked a bit dirty. The next day, when we went to the bar for drinks, I asked the bartender for four non-alcoholic mojitos, as listed on the menu. He agreed, but then started to pour alcohol into the drinks. One of my friends pointed out that we wanted them without alcohol. The bartender muttered something under his breath that I caught because I speak a little Turkish. He then carelessly filled the cups with 7 Up, slammed them on the table, and rudely said goodbye. I found this very disrespectful, as if we were getting free service.
I noticed the difference in how he treated other guests compared to us. After that, I felt uncomfortable going to the bar at all. The next day, I raised this issue with the guest relations manager. She took notes and promised to speak with her manager. I expected more action from her, as I wanted to see this resolved. Ove
