This hotel overbooks their rooms - stay away!
Having booked and prepaid this hotel 5 months in advance of our trip, we arrived after 17 hours of travel and with two children in our party. We arrived and were immediately surprised to see that there was no actual reception but a small desk in the corner of the lobby. We waited for more than 20 minutes to be attended as there was only one person attending the customers and at the time he was arguing with another guest who had arrived a few minutes before us and was being told they had no room for him. We were next, and same message. The hotel could not give us the room we had booked and prepaid and they were sending us to another hotel a few blocks away. Believe me, this is not what you want to hear after such a long trip and with two tired children. We asked them to get a taxi for us and although initially they said they would pay for it, we ended up having to pay for it ourselves! The lack of respect that this hotel showed for their guest is honestly something that I had not experienced before at any other hotel in the world, truly appalling. Once at the other hotel and after another 35 minutes in reception, we managed to get two rooms instead of the large family room that we had originally booked at Blue Moon. So, we had to split the family in a family vacation...I tried to speak to the Blue Moon manager two days in a row but he was always away. They promised me a reimbursement of 50% of the first night for all the inconveniences caused but I am still waiting...Stay away
