The hotel is walking distance to the train station which is good, however, is not safe the surroundings. The staff is the most rude I've ever seen in any part of the world. It's quite clear they don't want you there, they don't want work there, they are bitter and evil. To start when we arrived we were not greeted so after we present ourselves we got a look head to toe with repulse. It is clear they don't like to speak English. They make you feel you are an intruder and we cannot or have the freedom to make any questions. Room card was given and nothing else to say. In winter is already dark at 5 pm and with such dangerous surroundings we decided to eat the restaurant as room service is not available. The restaurant was packed with English, American and Spanish mostly students and all of them complaining there was no service and a group next to me said they were going to order a pizza outside. I also heard other group saying as they were speaking German with staff they immediately switched to a dialect of Swiss/German so the communication became impossible. Me and my 14 year old didn't have any choice, or the freezing cold outside full of thieves or to order in some food which I did. After 1 hour and no drinks were served I asked to a visible stressed waiter (he was the only one) where is our food, for my surprise what I ordered finished and they didn't even the courtesy to inform us. Unbelievable. Everything we asked was a burden to the staff. Noisy hotel.
