Not worth it
Avoid staying here. Very dated motel. No thermostat for precise temperature control. Tiny room, lights barely work. Hot water flow is after keeping facuet open for sometime, plumbing issues with the flush. Even wifi quality in the room is poor.

Not a comfortable inn
Only lock was a button lock in the doorknob. Housekeeper unlocked the door and walked in without knocking. Bathroom window does Not close all the way. 36 degrees outside and the heat was turned off. 1/2 the lights do not work . No refrigerator in room. Tub was raised about 6 inches, with no grab bar, no nonslip strips, no bath mat. Just had a sign that tub was slipper when wet.

thumbs down
Wall-mounted heater in room not working - Was given portable space heater that took long time to heat room, and couldn't be left on while sleeping as fire risk is too high, so froze at night (had to ask for extra blanket, only one blanket on bed) - hair in bathtub upon arrival, toilet running incessantly when entered room, trash near front door (visible to office) never picked up by maids - dreary room with brown 'rug', no shower head, took over 5 minutes to get hot water to run - all this for the privilege of paying $139 per night, and had previously seen it advertised for $175 per night -- use if desperate

Big hairball in tub backing the water up in the shower--I removed it myself. If the tub was being cleaned between stays the cleaner would/should have cleaned it out.

He scared me when we drove up the rooms need a lot of work, but on the good note, I felt very safe and it was extremely clean although it looks to be filled in the 50s and probably not remodeled since then. The beds are very hard, but overall definitely beats the $600 rims right down the street for a one or two night stay!

We had absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Husband was in the shower and literally did not have water to rinse off. Toilet clogged with little toilet paper. Told front desk she stated she'd see if maintenance was still around an hour later she was seen walking away and when asked if maintenance was coming she ignored. Found bedbugs, blood stains and not just a cpl I mean alot. Absolutely nasty.

Don’t do it
When me and my family arrived to check into our 2 separate rooms we went to the office to find what looked to be a room straight out of the 70’s. No workers to be found. There was a button on the wall that said press for assistance, we hit it atleast 3 times throughout standing there for 20 minutes and still nothing. So I called the hotel and a lady picked up, I said I’m at the office and am trying to check in. She said we will be in the office at 3pm… it was around 2:45. Finally got into rooms after a rough first impression to say the least. At first glance the room looked halfway decent but quickly noticed how slanted our floor was. While we were checking out the room and finding that everything was unlevel, a cleaner bursted through our door with no knock and said she forgot to give us a towel even though she didn’t have one in hand, turns out she did the same thing to my parents in the room next to us. Shower curtain wasn’t long enough causing the entire floor to get absolutely saturated while showering every single time. No fridge or microwave, was an ice maker in lobby. Parking lot is not very truck friendly. I understand people like to save money when going on vacation but I would strongly suggest going elsewhere. Place gave off a very shady and grimy vibe. The only real good things I have to say is there is a good BBQ restaurant across the road, a ice cream stand, and also mini golf.

The bed was uncomfortable. The property needs some upgrades. Staff was not super friendly and no one was ever at front desk. However there is an amazing 4.8 restaurant right next door woth amazing food and desserts. Highly recommend the walk.

Wasn’t allowed to check in at times listed on website, was charged the double rate for two nights with no explanation, staff walked into my room without knocking - felt unsafe after that, sheets weren’t changed, cold shower only, no to their fault but I had no signal from my room. I understand this is the cheapest nights stay in bar harbor for a reason but for paying $150 a night that’s poor

Robbins
First got an old room. Flushed toilet and no refill. Took a shower and barely had any water. Went to office and asked for another room. Got an exchange which was a remodeled room as shown in there advertising. Much nicer. No refrig or micro or coffee in room. Ice, coffee and micro in office if needed. This room was clean but still not much for water pressure.

The rooms closest to the highway are noisy as you can hear trucks and vehicles drive be al night. Better insulation would probably help. The door had a noticeable gap all the way around its perimeter that light was noticeable and did not help with the road noise.
