This hotel was 50 km away from the address shown by Expedia. Very unprofessional and unhelpful response from Expedia when contacted about this matter that they are giving false information which is their fault but even then they put a penalty on me. And that too was like the penalty for cancellation after the stay date was mentioned 1 night charges plus taxes but the penalty put on of their own fault was 3 times the penalty mentioned. Never ever going to use Expedia again, so unprofessional and incompetent in customer care. They did not had anyone in their staff to communicate with the chinese hotel in chinese, how convenient. If you do not have any chinese speaking person why are you booking chinese hotels and that too with the wrong information. If someone has an issue in China believe me Expedia will bail out on him/her like they did with me. And when i showed them i have been charged with 3 times penalty they simply said the Merchant name on my transaction does not match the actual name of the hotel, how simple they get rid of my money. So may be the angels came down from heaven and penalised me that money with some chinese name different than the name of hotel because of my only sin of booking with Expedia. Simply pathetic.
