Solidly basic
This is a very no frills hotel. Very basic but they do it well. You have what you need at a budget price point. Was able to accommodate my family of 4 in 1 room, which is hard to find in Tokyo at this price. Friendly and helpful staff. On site laundry. Clean rooms. Very close to Akabane station. Would stay again.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Very convenient location to the train station, dining areas, and a convenience store. Theres a lot of 18 things in the area (not lewd, just not for kids) in the area outside and around, but the hotel is phenomenal.

Not recommend
The location was sketchy! There is many massage parlors downstairs, and the ladies are outside offering happy endings to foreigners. There is a few casinos on the same block as well so there are few drunk people walking the street. I’m sure people use this hotel for prostitution or paid sex because there was a lot of notice through out the night. We stayed on the 5th floor which smelled like cigarettes. There was a smoking section on that floor, but we booked a NON smoking room. It didn’t make a difference because the smell lingers. The restroom was extremely (but that’s how Japan is) it I would not recommend this hotel to anyone taller than 5’ 8”. Over all not a great experience.
