We had a lovely stay at Terraza Los Pepes, it’s location is right in the heart of Havana vieja. The balcony has amazing views over the old town and the flat is beautifully decorated. Pepe is a great host, helping us with anything we needed and is very accommodating

Had a very lovely stay with Pepe. The home was lovely and had a fantastic view of the city, was in a very nice location near many restaurants, and Pepe was very helpful in terms of offering tourism advice, as well as cooking several delicious meals for me.

Amazing views of Habana from the terrace. I will never foguet those sunrises when opening the window or the chill out drinks on the Hamaca. The house is really confortable and Pepe is a very cool host helping you with wathever you need. Was a great experience staying in his house!!!

Amazing stay .
Our stay here was amazing , this apartment is central Old Havana, close to the Capitol building , the Theatre & El Floridita. The 2 Pepe’s who live above are the kindest of people who are very proud of their apartment and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need ( their coffee & fresh juice was very welcome every morning). The balcony was beautiful & relaxing and the interior was absolutely breathtaking ( photos attached !) I can highly recommend Terraza Los Pepes

Holaaa! I have been in Pepes house for some days in my travel in Cuba. Pepes is very funny and kind. I asked him to help us to organize the trip, how to go to trinidad, vinalles and varadero and he helped us with everything, collective taxi, private taxi, casa particular and a lot of information about Cuba. The owner Pepe made my stay in Havana amazing! The property is in a great location and has many good places to eat only a few minutes walk away. Pepe was very welcoming and incredibly helpful in sharing local knowledge (as well as great coffee) throughout my stay. He gave great advice and enabled me to really make the most of my time in Havana. Tip for anyone traveling to Havana it is safe but you will regularly be asked by random people on the street for the time or where are you from/ nice shoes etc just walk past they are just wanting money. Unfortunately this happened very often but you have to be firm and less British in saying no and carrying on with your day.

Pepe's casa was very well situated close to Central Park and all the historic sites, but on a very quiet street. The area felt very safe. The apartment is well secured but the room didn't have a safe. The room is on the 5th floor, so be prepared to walk up and down the steps. The room is comfortable with a small bar fridge to keep your drinks cold. A highlight was a lovely outdoor terrace with seating overlooking the town. Pepe speaks good English and is very helpful with recommendations for local eateries. Pepe recommended El Dandy, a block away, and we ate breakfast there frequently. He also arranged a taxi collectivo to take us from Havana to Trinidad at $35 US per person. We would highly recommend taking the free walking tour of Old Havana from Central Park at 9:30 each morning.

Great place with a great host.
I totally recommend this place! The property is lovely and Pepe is an excellent host. I was travelling alone and have PTSD (war veteran) so I need to feel safe. Pepe’s place was ideal for me. It’s an oasis of calm and safety in a vibrant and busy city. The room was clean and comfortable with AC that was old but it worked fine. Pepe was brilliant! He gave ma advice about staying safe, recommended great places to eat, told me about common local scams to look out for and gave me advice about changing money safely. If you have time for a chat and a cup of his amazing coffee, Pepe is an interesting guy with friends all over the world. One day I will return! Thank you Pepe!

We stayed at Pepe's for one night and got the Havana experience we were looking for. It was in close walking distance to the Capitol, the Plazas, Squares and other sites the tours will take you to. But the property is in the heart of Old Havana were locals are going about their daily lives. We always felt safe, although chose not to stay out too long after dark as the streets got pretty quiet. Pepe was a great host and gave us great recommendations and directions, as well as arranging our transportation back to Varadero for much less than we had expected to pay. The property is a beautiful apartment on the 5th floor, with a lovely balcony overlooking the street. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a private bathroom, not adjoining, but nearby. The air conditioning kept us comfortable at night, and street noise was non-existent until the morning. Tip: if, like us, you're coming from resort areas, ensure you have your passport or a photo of it, as it is necessary for Pepe to register your stay.

Recommended stay with Pepe
Our host, Pepe, is a fantastic gent that helped us immensely. He recommended plenty of great places to eat and drink and also recommended that we visited Trinidad, which was incredible. With Pepe’s contacts and knowledge, we were able to visit some amazing places and we felt totally at home with Pepe and he made us feel so welcome that we now consider him a friend. The apartment was in a very good location with the capital building being visible at the end of the street. There were also the beautiful sounds of a distant saxophone from the bar on the corner lulling us to sleep. Sadly, my partner wanted to Salsa dance and Pepe was only too happy to help and we have lessons on the roof and on the covered balcony/ patio area outside our room, and my legs ached for days!!! The covered balcony/ patio was a special place to relax at the end of the day to unwind and cool down, but it was also a great place to seek shelter from the midday sun. At first I dreaded walking up all those stairs but then found it a relief to be well above the heat and noise of Havana, although the street itself is very quiet. In fact, it’s about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the Capital building, the port and the north of old Havana (where there are so many great restaurants). We will always have the fondest of memories of Pepe, Havana and Cuba, and hope to visit again one day in the future. Thank you Pepe for making our time in Cuba so memorable, unforgettable and truly inspiring- we loved it all

Incrível estadia em centro velho Havana
O local tem uma energia muito boa , decoração da casa e simplesmente encantador, a cama que fiquei era muito confortável, lençóis bons, a casa está em uma rua silenciosa. Possui um jardim no terraço muito bonito. Para ter acesso a terraço principal é só solicitar e contemplar parte de Havana vista do alto. São 4 lances de escadaria.
