Would like full refund
Our stay was not great as we learned from others also staying at this location. Room smelled of old stale smoke. Toilet was dirty & there wereno shampoos or soaps at all. Coffee pot still had coffee water & grinds in it. Blinds did not fully close & looked out on to an operating construction site. Continental Breakfast was a juice box, apple, half muffin in a paper bag you had to pick up from the front desk. Swimming pool AND hot tub had NO chemical or chlorine smell at all??? What are they using to clean & a layer of scum around the sides!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AGAIN AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND FROM HOTELS.COM THAT SHOULD CHECK OUT THE PLACES THEY RECOMMEND!!

We were not happy with our room. It was dusty and the faucet leaked. Our television didn’t work. The desk clerk fixed our tv which she found was unplugged. We were offered a different room but we had showered after an eight hour drive. The assistant manager took &50 off the cost of the room so we felt better about the faculty mainly because of the staff’s helpfulness.

2/10 Poor

First room was loaded in dog hair, couldn’t call down to front desk as the phone didn’t work, so marched back asked if it could be cleaned as we didn’t book a room online that said it was pet friendly. Instead moved us, which is no big deal. Well we then went to the pool and hot tub with the kids. Hot tub was freezing. Called from my room three times to front desk, no answer. Called from my personal phone twice, no answer. We left and hoped it would warm up in the evening as my partner booked this stay for the kids to swim and for us to relax in the hot tub after a long day at work. I tried calling again and finally go through to front desk who said they would go turn up the hot tub. My partner got back and we went to go try the pool and hot tub again and there was a sign on the door that said closed for maintenance. The staff said there was a hazmat situation so he was cleaning the pool and the hot tub is broken. He said the pool will be open tonight but someone was coming to fix the hot tub. We go back after dinner and it’s open but yes both freezing cold so didn’t stay long. Next day breakfast bags were sold out, only 2 out of us 4 got breakfast. Went to the pool and a guy comes running in as we entered the pool saying it’s closed. Said he turned off the hot tub he will turn it back on. It never heated up our two night stay. We were lied to twice. Our neighbours were partying then around midnight tried to kick their door down from the inside, kept us up and felt unsafe.

The pool was cold, hot tub not working. Ran out of breakfast bags (was under the impression would get an actual breakfast) floor in room was filthy, no detergent for laundry, smokers right outside my room at patio set, stinking up my room with cigarette smell. Won't recommend, likely won't return

This place is a bit run down, could definitely use some renovations. We went and bought Lysol spray and wipes as it is questionable on cleanliness. The pool did not look clean at all. It had a dirty rim around the pool and the hot tub was lukewarm. Not worth the money

Our experience at this hotel was not good. The room was stuffy because the air conditioning was turned off. We had food to be refrigerated but the refrigerator was not turned on and the shelves were missing. We tried to watch TV but no sound. We finally had to find the volume switch on the back of the TV. Who does that anymore? TVs are all remote controlled now. The room was also very “dated” for the price. Would not recommend this hotel

The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The shower was difficult to adjust and changed temperature part way through. The included breakfast was a brown paper bag with half a muffin, a yogurt, an apple and a juice box, which made ok road snacks for the kids. For the price it was not a place i would stay again.

Travel Lodge - Kamloops
It served its purpose... a safe, clean place to sleep. It was good proximity to downtown. The room itself is quite warn. Definitely could be renovated. The pool was not very appealing. The breakfast was an assortment from Costco given to you in a paper bag (apple, juice box, half a muffin, and a yogurt). Front service was very good.

If you take nothing else from this review, just take that you should stay somewhere else! Upon arrival the girl in the office was friendly and able to get us set up quickly. From there it was an extremely quick downhill. During our short 14hr (10min tops was spent outside) stay we saw intoxication, drug use and prostitution. The room is extremely dated though they advertise renovated rooms. The towel bar fell off the wall, the carpet hasn't been cleaned since the coming of days, and the beds are like sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a prison issued pillow. This place is simply highway robbery! At most a room should cost $80/night. Further, the pool...omg the pool has a thick black ring around the inside! Clearly other reviews have been paid for by the business owner as nothing in them represents the state of this dive.
