Only ding was that the parking, while being onsite and connected to the hotel via an elevator, it is not owned by the hotel so you can't pay at the hotel. Had to hunt down the payment machine, pay for the hours used, then use the ticket to get out. So no daily rate, it's based on usage. Also very tight passages in the garage.
Hotel is older but well maintained, things were clean. And the staff was very friendly. The front desk folks spoke English. The room was nice and roomy. Bathroom clean but just a shower. Bed was comfortable. Not much of a view. Just apartment buildings but it is in the city center so very convenient to restaurants.
The breakfast buffet was great. Lots of sliced meats including salmon, cheeses, fresh fruits, cereals, there were hot foods - scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, little meatballs, and of course bread and various rolls. For me the pink grapefruit juice was a rarity for most I've been to in Europe. When the weather was nice one can eat out on the deck where they have several umbrellas and tables.
I booked this hotel specifically for the indoor pool. I had feared that might be closed because of COVID but they had it open with no more than 4 people allowed in at a time. Had to make a reservation for a time slot but it was worth it. Only about 4 feet deep but a large size pool you can swim in. There is also a dry sauna and a small exercise room with a couple treadmills and other machines. You can get towels from the front desk.
